Event Bookings
Our platform hosts various events and activities. When you book an event, you agree to our cancellation and refund terms outlined below.
Cancellation Policy
12-Hour Cancellation Window
- Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the event start time
- Cancellations within 12 hours of the event are not eligible for refunds
- Event times are based on the local timezone of the event
- No exceptions will be made for late cancellations
How to Cancel
- Use the cancellation option in your event booking
- Contact us at team@projectvanta.xyz with your booking details
- Include your user ID and event booking reference
- Cancellations are processed immediately upon request
Refund Policy
Eligible Refunds
- Full refunds for cancellations made 12+ hours before event time
- Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- You will receive email confirmation when refund is processed
Non-Refundable Situations
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before event time
- No-shows on the day of the event
- Events cancelled due to weather (unless we reschedule)
- Personal circumstances preventing attendance
Event Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel an event, the following applies:
- Full refunds will be provided to all registered participants
- Alternative event dates may be offered when possible
- Notification will be sent via email and app notifications
- Refunds processed within 3-5 business days
Weather & Force Majeure
Events may be cancelled due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule the event or provide appropriate alternatives. Refunds will be offered if rescheduling is not possible.
Exceptions
Refunds may not be provided in the following cases:
- Violation of our Terms of Service or event rules
- Inappropriate behavior during events
- Fraudulent bookings or payment issues
- Technical issues on user's end preventing attendance
